2CV
Redesigning the online home of a global market research agency.
2CV is an award-winning market research agency with teams in London, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Singapore. The agency works across five key practice areas: Tech & Entertainment, Life & Style, Social, B2B and Finance.
At the beginning of 2021, 2CV made redesigning their outdated website a priority. The 2CV team wanted an online home that better reflected the agency’s global status and offering, with interactive designs and leading UX.
JBi was appointed to lead a collaborative Discovery phase before designing and developing the agency’s new online home.

Exploring 2cv’s business priorities and defining user journeys through a streamlined Discovery phase
2CV’s new website needed to be built with a full understanding of its users, key performance indicators and SEO requirements. In order to achieve this within the agency’s timelines and budget, we planned and led a “Mini Discovery”.
This phase of the project was tailored to 2CV’s needs, including competitor benchmarking, a workshop with 2CV’s key stakeholders and detailed information architecture planning, culminating in a new sitemap and full report of our findings.
All activities were conducted remotely as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dynamic and Vibrant: Unveiling 2CV's Engaging Website with Animated Elements and Modern Design
2CV wanted its new website to be dynamic, with plenty of movement, animations and colour.
Based on this brief and the outputs of the Mini Discovery phase, we designed two unique creative concepts, which we presented to the 2CV team for feedback.
Once a final concept was decided upon, we took this forward into the wireframing stage, after which we began on the UI designs.
This culminated in an engaging and modern look and feel, epitomised by 2CV’s new Contact Us page, on which the user is “followed” by the local time for each of 2CV’s offices.
Making SEO a priority throughout the project, from Discovery to Go Live
JBi’s SEO team was involved from start to finish.
The information architecture, wireframes and UI designs were all reviewed to ensure that everything was optimised for search before progressing.
A plan was created to ensure that we effectively merged the previous website (which had no CMS) with 2CV’s new online home, which is built on WordPress.
We also ran reports on 2CV’s existing blogs to discern which popular posts to migrate and which to remove due to weak search engine performance.
Finally, a general SEO assessment was carried out to ensure that:
- All redirects were applied properly
- Meta descriptions were optimised
- No rogue 404 pages had been left
- Content had been migrated correctly
- All existing subdomains had been merged with the main domain without issue
